Bitaxe BM1366 Firmware

Bitaxe BM1366 Firmware Update or, e.g. with Lucky Minier LV06, exchange? Hardware and software are compatible, yes that’s possible!

The miner used in this video is a Lucky Miner – LV06. Well made and the quality is not objectionable. A manual is also supplied with the miner.

The BM1366 used in the first video was delivered with an on-board version: 0.11, the LV06 miners shown in this video are already equipped with an on-board version: 2.04, and bring 50 vis 70 GH7s more compared to the BM1366. It is worth taking a look at the on-board version when buying 👍

The highlight, however, is the power plug. I don’t know whether this is also supplied in other countries, as shown in the video. If so, you can make do with a travel adapter at low cost, which does nothing to impair the function.

However, I had a few teething problems because the original software didn’t work properly. Also, the installed firmware, and the firmware itself, lag a little behind the Bitaxe software, which is not necessarily an advantage in mining.

After some research, I decided to replace the firmware, which is not a problem.

Important info !

When replacing the firmware, always check the compatibility of firmware and hardware. Compare the type specifications for your hardware (several times) so that the firmware can also be installed. Incorrect firmware can make your miner unusable!

You cannot hold anyone liable for the damage.

The exchange of the firmware, the OEM Meiners LV06 used here, to the original Bitaxe BM1366 firmware is possible and is shown in the video.

You can download the original Bitaxe firmware at https://github.com/skot/ESP-Miner/releases/. The release page with the firmware versions is not so easy to find.

However, if you have reasons, or if you simply want to use the Lucky Miner software, you can of course also switch the BitAxe BM1366 to the LV06 firmware from Lucky Miner. This works in both directions.
