Danger Low Voltage Bitaxe Miner BM series

Danger Low Voltage Bitaxe on a BM Series miner. The miner runs poorly or keeps reconnecting. Here is the solution !

The Bitaxe miner of the BM series no longer mines, constantly reconnects and has a low hashrate – this is often due to a simple reason.

You can find proof that you have this problem under “Settings” in your miner.

Observe the “Input Voltage” for a few minutes. The error message “Danger: Low Voltage” often only flashes briefly.

If you see this error message, you need a different power supply.

I’ll show you how to fix the problem in the video.

My Bitaxe Miner always came with a Chinese power supply designed for 5 volts and 4 amps. This is too weak. The miners ran with it for half a year, but then no longer. Replacing the power supply units with new ones rated at 5 volts and 5 amps solved the problem.

At this point I have to praise “Lucky Miner” for once. The “LV06” were all supplied with a good power supply unit. 👍

When buying the power supply unit, make sure it has the right connection for the miner! Mine all have a 5.5 x 2.1 mm connection.
