Freenom update Game over
Many free domains (.TK / .ML / .GA / .CF / .GQ) have been on hold for about 4 weeks. That’s why here’s the blog post Freenom Update Game over.

When checking a new domain that you want to register with Freenom, the message appears every now and then. That currently Registration of the above-mentioned domains is not possible. We are working on a solution.
Many have also used Freenom’s domains for business purposes, where it was generally always discouraged. Especially here it is very annoying when it does happen to you.
As you can see in the video, I also got hit with two domains.

What bothers me personally is the new behavior of Internet companies that try to keep quiet about something that all customers notice live. The lack of release of information tops it all off. For my part, I no longer trust Freenom in terms of reliability.
I registered my domains with .uk for about $5 annual fee with Cloudflare and redirected them to the existing sites. Of course, if you change your URL, don’t forget to change all your referring links…
