ICANN vs Freenom the end of free domains

Since the beginning of February 2024, almost all domains (.cf, .tk,. host, .uno, etc.) that were registered via Freenom have been offline. ICANN vs Freenom the end of free domains? Yes, it looks like ICANN has pulled the plug on Freenom. The constant abuse that is said to have occurred via the registered domains is said to be responsible.

However, it is also known that registering free Internet domains is a thorn in the side of many people. Of course, the system loses a lot of revenue.

There is an easy-to-find chat on reddit.com, but here too there are mostly only outage reports, unfortunately no solutions.

My emails to Freenom.com have so far remained unanswered. A few seem to have received an answer and their domains have been reactivated.

There is no information or anything else on the Freenom.com WEB site. Funnily enough, you can’t find anything else about it on the internet! At the moment it is said in the forums that Freenom is over.

It’s a shame, I’ve always had good experiences with Freenom.
