Microsoft again worldwide disruption

Microsoft renewed worldwide disruption, on 30.07.2024, for Microsoft cloud services: cause allegedly DDoS attacks.

Disruption lasted almost the whole day

Users who wanted to access Microsoft 365 services noticed longer access times and were sometimes unable to use the services. The problem lasted for around eight hours and was resolved towards the afternoon with a temporary workaround.

Second major disruption in a short space of time

Just recently, an update caused IT disruptions worldwide! Banks, airports etc. were affected. Since then, technicians and experts have been working to get all systems up and running again. However, some are still struggling with the consequences.

MicrosAzure quarterly report often disappointing

Microsoft, which has high hopes for Azure, even if it has not achieved the desired growth according to the latest quarterly reports.

The market share of WINDOWS is also in sharp decline.

Outlook for Microsoft software, network, cloud & CO

Microsoft has long since earned the epithet, or classification, “junk”. Now we are experiencing a second malfunction worldwide in a short space of time. Whether the first disruption is justified or not, it is being blamed on a faulty Crowdstrike update. According to Crowdstrike’s terms and conditions, they are not liable because the software may not be used on SERVERN. Do they save the compensation here?

In any case, the malfunctions clearly indicate that too much is failing because mainly software and systems from Microsoft and third parties are being used. There are only a few parallel systems in use that can continue to run in the event of a malfunction of one system and absorb the disruption.

Conclusion

If you now take into account that the power supply in the EU is becoming increasingly unstable and blackouts are already expected.

I would think again very carefully about how I feel about digital currencies CBDC, digital media, services, offices and authorities and so on.

If you now add the vulnerability of the global IT infrastructure… you can wait for it.
