1947? Yes, the year is correct and a connection with the Roswell incident is often made and discussed, but there is no evidence for this.

If we believe in the alleged Anunnaki message published in the November-December 1958 issues of Flying Saucer Magazine, the ancient Anunnaki existed on Earth in the distant past.

According to Brinsley Le Poer Trench, the editor of the Flying Saucer Review, the alleged alien message first appeared in a 1947 issue of Fanatic Stories written by an author under the pseudonym “Alexander Blade”.

The article, which many believe to be proof of the existence of the ancient Anunnaki, states:

“We are already here, among you. Some of us have always been here, with you, but apart from that, you have watched and occasionally led when the opportunity arose. Now, however, we have increased our numbers in preparation for another step in the evolution of your planet: a step of which you are not yet aware…”

“We have been mistaken for the gods of many world religions, though we are not gods, but your fellow creatures, as you learned many years ago. You will find records of our presence in the mysterious symbols of ancient Egypt, where we made ourselves known to accomplish certain goals.”

“Our principal symbol appears in the religious art of your present civilization and occupies an important position on the great seal of your country. (The United States of America) It was kept in certain secret societies originally founded to keep alive the knowledge of our existence and our intentions toward mankind.”

“We have left you certain landmarks, carefully placed in various parts of the world, but most famously in Egypt, where we established our headquarters on the occasion of our last open appearance, or as you would say, public appearance.”

“At that time the foundations of your present civilization were ‘laid in the earth’ and the oldest of your known landmarks were erected by means that would seem as wondrous to you today as they did to the Egyptians many thousands of years ago.”

“Your ancestors knew us then as teachers and as friends. Now, through your own efforts in your coming of age, you have almost reached a new rung on the long ladder of your liberation. You have been constantly aided by our watchful ‘inspiration’ and hindered only by the natural difficulties of your physical and moral development…”

“You have lately attained the means of destroying yourselves. Do not be hasty in your self-congratulation. Your civilization is not the first civilization to have achieved and used such means. Yours will not be the first civilization to be offered the means to prevent this destruction and to establish an era of enlightenment on Earth in the full splendor of its accumulated knowledge.”

“Some of you have already seen our ‘Advanced Guard’. You have often encountered us on the streets of your cities and not noticed us. But when we flash through your skies in the old traditional vehicles (known as vimanas). You wonder, and those of you who open your mouths and tell what you have seen are considered deceivers and fools. You are actually prophets, seers in the truest sense of the word.”

“One of you says: ‘I saw a torpedo-shaped object’. Others report ‘disk-like objects’, some of you say ‘spherical objects’ or ‘plate-like objects’. You all report correctly and accurately what you saw, and in most cases you describe the same type of vehicle.”

“We are flying over hilltops in level flight. You see and report a torpedo-shaped object. We fly over in formation, flying vertically ‘edge-on’ … or we fly over at night, the jet vents light up, and you see an orange disk.”

“Either way you can see us, and either way we don’t care. If we chose to remain visible, we could easily do so, and indeed we have done so almost without exception for hundreds of years. But you must get used to our forms in your sky, because one day they will be familiar, friendly and reassuring.”

“This time it is to be hoped that the memory of them that will be passed on to your children and their children will be clear and precise. That you will not let them forget, as your ancestors forgot, the meaning of the charts and instructions we will leave you. If you fail, as other civilizations have failed, we will see your descendants wearing schematics for simple machines as amulets and expecting the diagrams to do what their ancestors taught and taught them about the artifacts.”
